Site Location and Criteria

While detailed site and location decisions are quite a ways off for this project, it was important for the Steering Committee to set out basic criteria that could eventually be used to help make a decision on location for the Many Flags campus.

The campus will need to be conveniently located for all of the Many Flags partners.  Since this will be a commuter campus (i.e., no housing is envisioned on campus), traffic patterns and transportation accessibility must be considered.  Give those general guidelines, we believe that the campus will be located in the greater Knox County area – but also it must be within the RDHS and GVHS districts (the dotted line area shown in the map below).
